Mocha Truffles recipe from Mountain View Country Market in Chuckey,TennesseeMocha Truffles

24 oz. milk chocolate chips
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
3 Tbsp. instant coffee granules
2 tsp. water
additional coating chocolate, melted

Melt chocolate chips; beat in cream cheese with mixer until creamy. Dilute coffee granules with water and mix with chocolate and and cream cheese. Shape into 1-inch balls. (Might need to chill first so you can shape into balls and dip in chocolate) Use a fork to dip into remaining chocolate. Place on waxed paper lined cookie sheet and sprinkle with pecans if desired. Let cool till hardened.

Note: If desired, melt white coating chocolate and drizzle over truffles.

Yield: Around 3 dozen.
