Upside-Down French Toast Recipe from Mountain View Country Market in Chuckey,Tennessee Upside-Down French Toast

1/4 c. Margarine
1/3 c. Brown Sugar
1 t. Grated Orange Rind
1/4 t. Cinnamon
4 Eggs, beaten
2/3 c. Orange Juice
8 slices French Bread

Preheat oven to 400°. Melt margarine in 10"x15" baking pan. Combine sugar, orange rind and cinnamon in small bowl; mix well. Sprinkle over melted margarine in pan. Combine eggs and orange juice in shallow dish; mix well. Dip bread slices in egg mixture, coating evenly. Arrange in prepared baking pan. Pour any remaining egg mixture over top. Bake for 25 minutes. Let stand for 1 minute before serving.
