Mocha Pudding recipe from Mountain View Country Market in Chuckey,TNMocha Pudding

2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 T. instant coffee
1/8 c. hot water
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 (8 oz.) ctn. Cool Whip
CRUMBS:
1 (16 oz.) okg. Oreo cookies
4 T. oleo
1/2 c. brown sugar

Crumbs: Scrape out white frosting from Oreos. Crush cookies. Combine cookie crumbs, butter and brown sugar and put in pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350°. Cool.
Pudding: Dissolve instant coffee in hot water. Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add instant coffee mixture, then sweetened condensed milk. Fold in whipped topping. Stir in baked crumbs.
You may garnish with crumbs and chocolate syrup.
Variation: Some recipes ask for 1/2 cup chocolate syrup in the cream cheese mixture. It makes it more chocolate flavored and brownish in color.
