1 sm to med - pumpkin
1 lg - onion, chopped
carrots, chopped
celery, chopped
garlic, chopped
sm amount - jalapeno pepper, chopped
fresh nutmeg
1 qt - heavy cream
1-2 qt - chicken stock

Cut pumpkin in half and bake cut side down on a baking sheet at 375° for 30-45 minutes. In a pan, heat oil and add chopped vegetables and simmer. Pull skin off of pumpkin, cut into slices and add into hot stock. Add spices, heavy cream and chicken stock. Add vegetables and simmer for 30-30 minutes. Use a blender to puree to one's liking.
Note: Add carrots, celery, garlic and spices according to your taste.
